    EVENING...
    THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR
    * SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA.
    * UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING
    * SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS
    AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND COASTAL SOUTH CAROLINA.
    DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE IN PLACE WILL ALLOW THESE STORMS TO
    PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED
    LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY THIS EVENING.
    * RECENT RAINS DURING THE PAST FEW DAYS HAVE SATURATED SOILS AND
    FILLED URBAN DRAINAGE SYSTEMS. ANY SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS THAT
    DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING SEVERAL
    INCHES OF RAINFALL IN AN HOUR. RAIN AT THIS RATE WILL QUICKLY
    FLOOD LOW-LYING AREAS. COASTAL URBAN AREAS INCLUDING CHARLESTON
    AND SAVANNAH WILL BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO RAPID FLOODING
    SHOULD RAINFALL OCCUR AROUND THE HIGH TIDE AT 530 PM TODAY.
