    PROVIDING CONTINUED UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT FOR SHOWERS AND
    THUNDERSTORMS. AREAS ALONG THE SPINE OF THE APPALACHIANS INTO THE
    UPPER SAVANNAH RIVER VALLEY REGION OF NORTHEAST GEORGIA AND
    UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA HAVE EXPERIENCED MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF
    SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE PAST 48 HOURS. ANTECEDENT
    CONDITIONS OVER THESE AREAS WARRANT CONTINUATION OF FLASH FLOOD
    WATCH THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

    NORTHEAST GEORGIA...ELBERT...FRANKLIN...HABERSHAM...HART...
    RABUN AND STEPHENS. IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA...GRAHAM...
    HAYWOOD...MACON...MADISON...NORTHERN JACKSON...SOUTHERN
    JACKSON AND SWAIN. IN UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA...GREATER OCONEE
    AND OCONEE MOUNTAINS.
    * THROUGH THIS EVENING
    * THE THREAT FOR HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
    WILL CONTINUE TODAY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 2 OR 3 INCHES WILL
    BE POSSIBLE IN THE PARTS OF THE WATCH AREA... AND THIS RAINFALL
    WILL AFFECT LOCATIONS WHERE THE GROUND IS ALREADY SATURATED FROM
    RECENT RAIN.
    * RIVERS AND STREAMS IN THE SOUTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS
    AND THE UPPER SAVANNAH RIVER VALLEY WILL RISE WITH THE
    ANTICIPATED RAINFALL. PERIODS OF HEAVY DOWNPOURS WITH ANY
    THUNDERSTORMS MAY CAUSE RAPID RISES ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS...
