  • ...AREAS OF DENSE FOG REDUCING VISIBILITIES...
    FOG HAS ENCOMPASSED MUCH OF SOUTHEAST GEORGIA AND FAR SOUTH
    COASTAL SOUTH CAROLINA THIS MORNING. VISIBILITIES OF 1/4 TO 1/2
    MILE WILL PERSIST THROUGH LATE MORNING...EXCEPT ALONG THE COAST
    WHERE SEA FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AT
    TIMES...ESPECIALLY NEAR BODIES OF WATER. DENSE FOG WILL ALSO
    IMPACT THE SAVANNAH HARBOR. CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE BY
    NOON.
    MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR REDUCED VISIBILITIES. IN
    ADDITION...MARINERS TRAVELING THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY AS WELL AS
    THE VARIOUS BAYS...HARBORS...RIVER AND WATERWAYS THROUGHOUT THE
    LOWCOUNTRY AND COASTAL EMPIRE SHOULD BE ALERT FOR POOR NAVIGATING
    CONDITIONS.
