How's the last thing we funded going.....the cow barn to nowhere!
Teachers have already left and continue to do so. Some have no other employment to go to. This is an indication of teachers' frustration level with NCSS. The lawsuit is just the culmination of many issues involving the Carpenters (in my opinion).
Also...teachers pay 100% of their health benefits and retirement is funded at a measly 1/2 % The old tired political line that teacher retirement and health benefits are breaking the budget just doesn't ring true for NCSS. This went into effect two years ago as a 'cost saving measure'.
The central office is aware of the performance of this administrator. hey considered moving this administrator to EHS to give the administrator a chance to be successful.
I think this woman has lost it. The burden is on her to prove the comments were false. She also has to prove they have harmed her career. As far as we can see she has not been fired or demoted. As far as harming her future ..well she isn't up for another job or promotion as far as we know. Really her husband should sue her for harming his future career. Once the people in Jackson get wind of this they will want no part of this kind of crazy.
Way to go Matthews-you are more than willing to claim EOCT gains as your own before you have even been here a year but low ACT scores that's the other guy's problem? Can't have it both ways!
It's for certain Hurst does not teach sportsmanship!
So sad as a teacher to see too many former students in this list. These are the same students that had absolutely no parental support for their education.
Thank goodness the comment section is back. I have back my entertainment. No realty show can compete with the circus of ignorance in this county!
