Are you talking about repaving the whole roads downtown? The last time I was down town I thought the tracks had already been paved over. I just wanted to say thank you for coming out to Dixie Road and removing the stop signs. They had paved over the tracks sometime in the last two weeks but did a poor job of it and left the stop signs. They finally showed back up yesterday and took the signs down and did a final pave job. Good Job! Love it.
There are speed limits signs coming from Highway 11 to the Covington Bypass area and they are listed at 55, so I guess one side of the road is one speed and the other side of the road is the other speed? It has been a mess for a long time now.
At 7 pm, he was sitting in the parking lot at Bojangles-but then walks a mile to a mobile home park to call police? What was wrong with the gas station next door to Bojangles, Bojangles, Applebee's, Longhorn's or any other place that has phones? Something does not seem right.
Wow, first of all John, his comment may have been a little strange but I think that he was just responding to your comment and if you have no problem with people responding to your comment why are you so defensive? and I am a mother of one which is why my log in is momofone-not momphone (which I am assuming was a typographical error and not intentional).
By both parents statements, the physical fight started when he slapped the phone out of her hand. He is a bully, probably was a bully before this day and will always be a bully. I really hope that she realizes it now and does not allow him back into her or the baby's life UNTIL he has counseling and has dealt with his demons. I doubt it will happen, but one can hope. BTW John, grow up, if you don't want people to respond to you, don't comment.
Wow, these are some winners. The only person I feel sorry for is the child who has these people as a mother and "baby daddy" (Oh and society that will have to raise, feed, clothe and educate said child).
Does anyone else notice that half of the crap that happens at the schools is a result of someone leaving an item laying around that they should not have? Teachers should have their belongings locked in a desk drawer or a file cabinet. I work with kids and I keep my purse and phone locked up or on my person at all times. A student who leaves their IPod on a stack of books in the hallway does not know the value of the money that was spent on the IPod.
Who is paying for his travel back and forth? If he has accrued leave and takes it in order to travel, as long as that is in the leave policy NCSS has to pay him for his time. My main concern is the travel and the accomodations while he is in Kansas City. Is the NCSS footing the bill?
Why was the student with the multiple bags and the scale not charged with intent to distribute and detained? That sounds to me like a case could be made that he was obviously involved in the manufacture and distribution of the drug. It would seem to me that if we go after the kids that are dealing it, we could make more head way in keeping it out of the schools more. He/she/it needs to be expelled-if you want an education, you should not be selling drugs. Call me crazy but having a scale is more than just "I use it to unwind"
I just wanted to say "Thank you for your service and dedication" to Lt. Cripps. He did what few others would have done and then to just go home and change his clothes and go back to work? Good job!
