Breastfeeding is fine in public if you cover yourself up. I know there are a lot of liberal people that will disagree but I think it should be done discreetly simply out of respect for yourself and others. Common courtesy for others is quickly dying.....sad.

I don't know him thats why I said "PERHAPS" but jail records are also public but that has nothing to do with the fact that he passed away and everyone that commented negatively should be a more respectful about him and his family/friends. I'm sorry for your loss but don't bite my head off. Re-read my paragraph before commenting as you did.Best Wishes

Unfortunately, this man did not use common sense and perhaps not an upstanding citizen however it does not give us the right to disrespect him or his family. His family is grieving for his loss and to see how crude people can be is very disheartening. Please keep in mind that his family and/or friends are reading these comments and I'm sure you would not appreciate it if it was the other way around.

He is being paid for the job he was hired to do which is basically what principals and assistant principals make. If the firefighter wants more money then they can go to school and pick a different field to be in or work hard to get promoted to a higher rank within the fire department. It would be a shame if this man came back from Afghanistan and was not given a job back or only offer him something below his education and experience level. I am very impressed that the school system handled this in the way they did because this school system usually makes stupid decisions. In case you don't realize this but in most companies the supervisors make more money than the subordinates. The teachers are not supervisors, the principal and assistant principal are and they get paid based on their job description. Pick your battles wisely, please.

Will, I agree with you 100%. I hope the leadership in this county will realize that if they want business to stay in this county then offer the businesses that the citizens want and need. I have to go to Athens, McDonough, and Snellville to purchase clothing I want. Can you imagine how many jobs would open up locally if we had something like a Tanger Outlet?

Mr. Sigman, please just let it go. You are continuing to embarrass yourself by looking and sounding like a fool. You were caught and you should be a bigger man by admitting to what you did and do the logical thing is "tuck your tail" and go away. No one will vote for you except for your family and yourself. You have proven to be a shyster. There is no room for your lack of ethics in Covington. Covington has enough problems without you adding your conniving ways to it. Your behavior is shameful and personally I'm tired of you saying "I don't know" when you do know what you said and what you have done.

Thank you for posting the video as the other news outlets did. Citizens need to be informed and have the right to know the truth. Mr. Sigman, you owe everyone an apology and you can start with the Covington Police Department. You made false statements and accusations of a department that was merely doing what they would have done for you or anyone else, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have embarrassed yourself, your family and the citizens of Covington. Thank you for dropping from the race and please do not run again.
