So what would be wrong with them buying their own I pads, that way the employees would have 7 days of holiday pay instead of 5.
When they get two years old the I pads will be outdated, I thought these folks had a brain instead of a money bag to think with.
Well written henrystamm - I'm so tired these of these liberals and tree huggers that want to take away the rights of the American people, they all should be shipped to Cuba and live down there.
Dickerson and left wing friends are going to mess up Newton County if Newton County does not start standing the principles that our county use to stand for.
Bemused, if other counties around Newton County can concentrate in one area of the county that has high crime do you not think that Newton County can do the same thing. And no I am not a fool, The elected officials have you brainwashed into believing their nonsense. The liberals have gotten into this county so bad till they have gotten people scared to speak up I for one will say that the lies that they pass on to you are sad.
You cannot say that a county like Clayton, Rockdale, and other counties do not concentrate more on a high crime area. Like I said if more than one deputy was patrolling the west side then crime would be lower.
If the sheriff would put more than one deputy riding around in the western part of the county, put two on that side riding around, control the crime in the western part, get rid of the drug dealers, get rid of the thugs, then the new gun control that the liberals want would not be needed.
I think it is great that the City of Covington has a Mayor and council members that care about this great hometown.
I say go get the business so it can help us all.
The good old boys in Social Circle are doing a good job of covering up.
Goes to to show the locals like to hide stuff too, like they do in Washington.
I totally agree with inthemiddle, So Covingtonian if are not so not happy about where you are at in Covington why not move back to you where ever you came from and hopefully you will not be putting down a city where my great great grandparents came to live.
And thank God Covington is not like Decatur nor like Dekalb county.
So as we say down here in this part of the world be happy or get out.
I have lived in this area all of my 57 years, I can remember four of the past city managers, there was two that was brought in from other cities and all they wanted to do was miss up the way the city was ran one thing that they did was bring down the moral of the city employees. The City of Covington prospered more when Frank Turner Sr. became the city manager. Then Steve Horton became city manager after the retirement of Frank Turner Sr., and Steve has helped continue the prosperity of the city. I for one am glad they promoted someone from the city employees. Let us all support Ms. Knight as the newly chosen city manager, The City of Covington is a good place to live, lets all be happy.
It's time for SACS to come to Newton County and investigate the great board of education in Newton County. There is a lot s*** going on that does not smell good.
