We need a better way to select a school board. The stupid electorate has no idea who they vote in! May be it will be better if the leader of the county appoints the members and the board of commissioners approve of them and a two term of 2 years will be imposed. Just suggesting, even I did not really know who to vote for here in Newton County because of the lake of information. We selected one that was heavily finance by the black racists outsiders. She now will be elected years after years. Sad.

How did the democrats’ masquerading as republicans con themselves to be elected? I do not support any union but this association has is right. We have to many ridicules laws and rules on the books already. Also i support sheriff Brown in almost every aspect, I just want to remind him that we have a firing of a weapon restriction on the books. For all of you prohibitionists that is all we need. None of our neighbors are abusing the law, Maybe those two yahoos in Johns neighborhood should be informed of that law by our Sheriff, it is in effect and valid for district one too. I disagree with the Sheriff association. Traffic ticket income goes to the county as well as all other violation punished by the courts. Too much abuse is possible when money becomes an incentive. Just look back to Clayton Count, Victor Hill that says it all. Law enforcement is just that, to enforce the law, protect the people and not make money.
I would have loved to have gotten compensation that large for any job that I left. Only this dumb administration can approve that. Yes I forget that it was not their money. Just incredible, only the government compensates failure.
