Tell that to the teacher who was suspended last year for simply commenting that Dr. Carpenter was not the answer to AHS' problems. She was called into the principal's office, then the county office, suspended, had to hire an attorney, and was finally reinstated AFTER the attorney told the central office that what they were doing to her was illegal. Some of you people are incredibly gullible. If it were not for many anonymous comments, AHS and the NCSS would still be dealing with the Carpenters. That's a fact.
Thing is, some people can't put their names behind comments for fear they will be fired from their jobs. Dennis and Laquanda taught us that lesson.
I bet their college professors don't tweet to them all the time.
Says the person who railed on "anonymous bloggers" for the past two years....
Has anyone ever met a professional named Quintavian? A doctor, lawyer, teacher, nurse, businessman? No? Me neither. You pretty much set your kid up for a rough life when you name him Quintavian.
The principal is responsible for the culture of the school. No she is not responsible for the food fights, but that is NOT the only problem at the school. Truth is she is in over her head and has done nothing to gain control of that school since day one. Of course the parents are accountable too, but the principal is in charge of the school and like it or not when things go bad the principal takes the blame. I see his or her role as that of a head coach of a football team. You can't blame the coach for everything a player does, but you can blame the coach for not taking control of the program and allowing a culture of immaturity, lack of discipline, and lack of pride in one's school. You are CRAZY if you think she has control of the school and that there is not a discipline problem there. Of course there is. That is on her.
Check the video, Citizen. An administrator WAS struck by a student and it is on tape. My friend is an office aide and he saw it, not to mention several people recorded it on there phones. But the PR machine downplays this incident. It has been crazy at AHS lately and has been building for a long time. There is NO control, and the county office makes it sound like a couple of rolls were thrown and no big deal. I wonder why? Could it be the connection between the principal and the associate superintendent? Hmmmm....
Too bad the Citizen didn't agree with my comments. Why was my comment removed? I didn't write anything objectionable!
If Eddie Long is a king then I am He-Man, Master of the Universe. Smh....
This just shows you why nothing ever gets done down there at the BOE. They are STILL trying to figure out where to have graduation? Just make a freaking decision already! You have school gyms, you have Sharp Stadium..... it shouldn't be this difficult folks!
