I enrolled my daughter at CCA in January 2012 and we could not be happier. My step-daughter has always struggled in school and changing school districts in Feb. 2011 didn't help any. I wanted to enroll my daughter at CCA instead of Eastside but because no one really knew what CCA was or what they where about I was encouraged to let her go on to Eastside High. I did so but by Christmas break she was still failing and now failing EVERY class but PE. I knew this was a problem so I went to CCA and talked to them 1st hand about who they where and how my child could benefit from their school. Well honey let me tell you, I was worried for nothing. My daughter loves the school and the smaller classes that allows her more 1 on 1 time with the teachers. Her classes range from 12 students to 3 students. What parent wouldn't want that for their child? My daughter just got her 1st report card at CCA and she is NOT FAILING one class. She is all A's ,B's & 1C. Did I make the right decision? You darn right I did. The majority of student are African American and my daughter is white. This does not bother me nor my daughter. My daughters education isn't about color it is about who can help her the most and Challenge Charter Academy has done that for her. I plan on sending my son their next year as well. He can't wait. I know there are some negative things going around about CCA but you need to go meet all the great people their and form your own opinion. My only regret is that I didn't send her sooner :)
