Very good points here and backed up with research - always enjoy this column we need educated educators on every school board and we need to put more of our students on college campuses like this says.
I just talked with RESA they have helped with many many searches and they say our board uses them for training. SACS is coming in January so I hope the LaQuanda Carpenter lawsuit and the violatons of IFBG and GAG and so on don't cause our system problems is there any truth to the GBI stuff if so that could be a issue like DeKalb I hope that is not true about the GBI.
Did Randy Vinson have any part in the NSP homes and the federal dollars appropriated - or MIS - and the contractor who flew the coup and the workman's liens? Just curious if he had anything to do with this. Gee thanks for the IHOP when is Waffle House number 6 or 7 coming? Chamber is really doing a great job of keeping us at the plateau where no one wants to go. Face it chamber monkeys you are not bringing anything unique of quality to Newton County so get off the international airplanes and reduce your staff and save us a buck.

Less than 10% of voters turn out for a SPLOST in Newton so if you can make them your NO voters - and I agree with you - then it will fail and the school system will have to regroup.
Maybe Roger needs to say off the fancy airplane trips and Facebook or do we even need his salary cost anyway? And Hunter? I guess you pegged this wrong. Maybe you should go to a school board meeting and yell at them again or pitch a fit about liquor by the drink. It passed but the Dove didn't land here. It is time for the BOC to rethink Chamber funding and the number of people on staff there.
