here is the link to the Newton BOE members flood their emails and the phones with your voices http://www.newtoncountyschools.org/board-of-education.aspx if they tell Ms. Mitchell and all parents at Alcovy or not even at Alcovy they have not heard from enough of us let them hear. This is a serious slap at students who sit in classrooms like this whether they live in Alcovy district or not.
You pay taxes for the anti-God artwork. Here is a public participation link to explain how you can have a public formal stand that is taped and live: http://www.newtoncountyschools.org/board-of-education/public-participation.aspx
Schools come to us the taxpayers when they beg and grovel for penny sales taxes so they will just need to listen to us when we tell them God is alive and well and Alcovy High School is getting to be an old story of how bad Newton County is.
Thank you @brown for sharing this. Along with the crazy hiring going on at NCCA this is the best argument all year for why we do not need these career academies I am sending this You Tube video link to Casey Cagle and John Barge and Nathan Deal so they can see what their 3 million dollar grant money plus additional dollars got for us taxpayers keep sharing please.
Meadors also opposed spending more than 10K on a supe search but they wasted that money too. How much was spent in DC was it 2K last year reported by this paper? You all got snowed on SPLOST.
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE HIRING OF THE NEWTON COLLEGE AND CAREER ACADEMY COUNSELOR? WHY DO THEY NEED 2 OF THEM WITH ONLY 600 STUDENTS NO OTHER HIGH SCHOOL HAS THAT RATIO AND WHAT ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS? BE TRANSPARENT.
They are an embarrassment to our entire system. Employees do not respect them rather tolerate them. Suddenly the cat got your tongues EDDIE & ALMOND?
@Honest Abe. I did my part today. I voted NO.
Newton County IN MY OPINION really won't recover on the school board until Kent Campbell goes away. He has outlived his usefulness and in my opinion wrongly advises the board. He is NOT elected and is not in charge - other way around. Mathews is leaving and that is a good thing. We just got rid of the main two problems and if Kent can pack up and call it a day we can rebuild. Next step - get rid of or make life unbearable for those hired by and protected by the crowd that just left.
Can employees sue the Carpenters if they were harmed by them?
