Why is this so hard BOC! Every other county in GA can seem to get a handle on this but us. Heck Social Circle is gonna vote! Prohibition is over Mort!! We need people to speak up about why we cannot vote like everyone else. And also why is Jen Carter advising the board? Do we not pay Tommy Craig? He bills us but not always showing at meetings.
I agree with you amp72 but the BOC seems to think otherwise. We need to force the BOC to explain why we are denied the righ to vote on Sunday Sales or liquor by the drink. It seems every time that booze is dicussed it is tabled!! This would bring in money money and JOBS!
$2.8 million in new money and our roads are falling apart! Just imagine if we allowed sunday sales or a by the drink establishment "bars" Our BOC is opressing its citizens. I would challenge Mr. Hall to break down where this money went, when all that is here is Waffle House, Walmart, Dollar Stores.
All these requirements to just enter kindergarden! I can get a pistol permit showing less information. If all these things are required how do illegal imigrants enter our school system? Why are (garbage, electric, water and gas bills only are accepted) as other residency? Oh wait the city and county run most of those services so they make sure your current I guess. When will our schools improve to make AYP no excuse not to!! If administration can find a way to pass tell those FAT CATS to move on down the road!
I feel the city should not be making investments like this at all! Just as they should not loan money to organizations. Please stop this wasteful spending and help the people of Covington!
Hey John,
Thanks for the info maybe you should be testifying to the city about what the costs are and cons will be. It seems our local governments city, state or county only hear the pros and no cons. Great info about this technology, and in my eyes the city should not even think of this idea~!
I am not an advocate of the "baggy" pants by no means! To me its ridiculous to wear your pants like that. But I for see a 1st Amendment problem, this could prove costly for the citizens of poterdale. Limiting free speech always spells trouble.
Yes Momofone I did read yea they are sterile fish, but that does not mean they die once the plant is eaten off. Who is going to take care of the Carp problem when the plant is gone? Carp are bottom feeders and will eat any fish. I think you are part of the Ewing, Fleming group!!
Great job BOC! Waste more money! Dont even allow citizens to vote on Sunday sales, because it costs too much! How will we get rid of the Carp? Was this a public bid job, $57,500 is a lot of money! Pot holes everywhere, cant fix those cause there is no money! This sounds like a fishy Ewing, Fleming, Craig story!
