If you are a high school principal and some web comments cause you "enormous suffering" then you need to get lost. This woman better never run for public office or try for a higher job in a school system she will end up in the ER with "enormous suffering" and "damage to her trade." If anyone ruined her in the community it was her stupidity in filling a lawsuit like this. This ain't no leader.
I say let them both go early and pay them. Any price is fine get them away from Newton students as soon as you can. I hope the new district buys them a house cars and pays them so much they stay forever I do not want one single more taxpayer dollar out of Newton going to these two people. I ask the Newton Citizen to stay all over the BOE in the supt search so they don't play dirty and the SPLOST too. I will vote NO on SPLOST but cover it to the max.
@frustrated he probably is. But I can tell I think he got any votes on that it would be pity votes. He has more then done his share stirring up controversy but yet he wants to blame others. Ha. To funny.
I'm sure most people are under the impression that they do their drills like they should. What's a problem is they don't and none ever knows when a fire might break out or something more tragic may happen. However given the fact panick can happen prepared or not. But not being prepared is avoidable.
I called my board member Saturday and told we have not had a single emergency drill since LaQuanda CArpenter has been at Alcovy High and have had to fight fight fight to make her lock the back doors had bad stuff in woods last year - totally ignores us.
Our schools are only as good as we demand that they be. SInce SACS is coming in the spring make your voice known to Mark Elgart, President of AdvancED/SACS if you feel that the local system is ignoring you. SACS looks at policies and how and if they are being followed toward an end of greater student achievement. If policies are made and violated they need to know. Contact them here:

Why have 21 state required fire drills failed to be reported on LaQuanda Carpenter's watch.
