Nawwww, this didn't happen at Newton County?! Not the highest and mightiest, most ethical arm of the law in the county?!
Is this the same agency that locked up the new, elderly homeowners trying to "break into" their new home, and then let them go only to return and lock up the good Samaritans that called them in the first place, and then let THEM go?? Wow, Sheriff, embarrassment much?
I don't know what the heck Henry is talking about, but, all I can say is you need to head on down to your nearest gun dealer and buy yourself a baby Glock (smaller version). Preferably a .45 caliber, .40 caliber or 9mm. Then, go to your county courthouse and apply for a "concealed carry permit". It'll cost you a small administrative fee, your fingerprints and in about a month you'll have it. Then, if you're walking through a parking lot toward your car, minding your own dang business after shopping at your favorite store, spending your hard earned money and 5 young thugs approach you with the desire to take ANYTHING away from you, you can whip out your Glock and let 'em know it ain't happening tonight, boys!
I was at the Porterdale Christmas parade Friday night and it was quite enjoyable! The turnout was rather large, I'd guesstimate at least a couple thousand folks in the area. And, although it was not exactly the Macy's parade and kinda short, the parade was very hometown-ish and Christmasy...that is, until that high school band came strutting by. And, I do mean, strutting. As in, ladies of the night strutting their man magnets. It was about as disgusting as I've ever seen, what looked like 15 and 16 year old black girls with their clothing pulled up so that the bottoms of their rear ends were exposed, dancing and wiggling around in a vulgar manner as if this were Mardi Gras in New Orleans. And, then came the comments from some of the spectators. Some for, some against. Just plain trash.
The citizens are not needed to take their firearms and go out and hunt down the criminals, buddy. The purpose of this announcement is to alert you to the fact that these two weirdos are on the loose in the area, what they look like, their descriptions, etc... so that if you happen to see them you can CALL THE POLICE!! The number is 911. You push 9, then 1 and then another 1.
