Its not hard for the board to do this however @this honky meadors is the only one who wants to fix anything nobody else on the board really could careless it seems like.
Your right the school system did not harass them but they knew if there was a big enough deal made and them playing the I was harassed card the board would eventually get tired of it and do what they wanted.

The thing is pebbles is the NCSS didnt have to let this keep going. It got completly out of hand. However it just goes to show where the power is and isn't but I think now they all see through all of this.
That is a good question do we know the warning signs? Well we would like to think we do but it is unfortunate that we in fact don't and that is the scary part. Another thing that raises concern is that as time passes and more things happen the more panicked we get. Do we have enough in place to help our children feel safe? The answer is no we do not and that is not healthy for children to worry that much. A lot of people asked is it gun control we need, or is it more mental health professional. Both as I see it. Being in the mental health profession it is very complicated but we need more of both, however I'm not saying take away the right to bare arms, but what I am saying is look a little deeper into giving a gun permit before handing it out like a fishing license.
This is too much and something needs to be done. Something more in the policies to make it a little more safe. Until something is done it will just continue. It is very sad to see any childs name across the screen and no matter what a childs age it is hard to lose them. Let's hope that something can be done to help keep our kids feel safe and secure at school. I think that if enough people got together in the right places to make this happen it could happen but until talk becomes action we will remain in the same situation.
@ilovecovington they arent keeping them safe that is the problem. It is sad that we send our kids to school and have to be scared to death while they are gone. If it isn't a child taking lives it is someone breaking into the school and shooting up the school or attempting to do so. @ dennistay I agree none of this is enough and we need to have better plans set into place.
