I think what's worse is that: #1: A stranger was let into a preschool. Period. #2: Stranger was not supervised or escorted to and from the restroom and #3: A STRANGER WAS LET INTO A PRESCHOOL!!!!
They are lucky just their money was stolen. As a parent, termination of employees who allowed entry or I would pull my child from that school.
It's plain to see that the two articles in the other paper that wouldn't allow the comments was "their last word". Wow. Just, wow.
They make nursing covers to discreetly breastfeed in public. Even a blanket is fine. I have nothing against women who extend their breastfeeding over one year, but a child who is old enough get most of their nutrtion from table food does not need to be nursed in public. That being said, even that is fine if done discreetly.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is exactly what she was hoping would happen. It brings awareness to NIP. Pun intended.
I don't doubt the police report exists, but is it a false report (did the threats happen, was the letter written by someone other than the alleged victim?).
No one is attacking anyone or accusing. Eyebrows are raised and I for one am skeptical. On both sides. I don't think anyone knows what any of this is about anymore. It sounds like a Lifetime Movie script.
When anyone questions the validity there are never answers to direct questions. Change of subject is made and the answer is "ask about the fights that happened today". Well this whole thing isn't about the fights last week, it's about the things written on this site that were later admitted to be untrue.
This whole thing has gotten more and more ridiculous.
Just because you saw the police report doesn't mean it is true. Ever heard of filing a false police report? I'm with Covingtonian on this one it was the alleged threats and the alleged visit from thugs in the middle of the night that had me side eye'ing Ms. Black.
That's just it OnToday, Shannon had the opportunity to bring her truth and proof into the light at the depo and she failed to do so. It doesn't exist, IMO and she admitted she lied. That to me makes her absolutely not credible. Ever.
While it is obvious that there is a problem with the school system, Miss Black has been on here saying how she has all this evidence and the lawyers have all this evidence and then can't provide said evidence and doesn't even bring an attorney to the deposition. Why in the world did she admit she was wrong when all along she's been saying she's done nothing wrong just getting the "truth" out. She also admitted she didn't think about how the comments would damage the Carpenter's reputations. I'm sorry, but I view this as a win for the plaintiffs. Whether or not it will further their case in the court remains to be seen. I'm concerned this mess is going to get bigger for Miss Black and I hope that everything she says is the truth, up to and including the visitors, the note, the alleged threats.
While I agree that Wifi is not free, I don't agree with your analogy. Additional charges are not incurred by using someone's wifi. While it may be deceitful, it's not the same as stealing water or electricity. It would only become criminal if he hacked into computers via wifi and started stealing information. I have a wireless network that is password protected as well, but no one gets the password. Anyone who uses it is set up by my spouse.
@Jamie glad you feel safe. Perception is everything, but in my opinion there is something severely wrong with a bored pd that sits at intersections and tickets you for picking your nose while driving. (not literally but that is what some of the tickets I've heard about being written amount to).
Very good points everyone. I still think calling for him to be fired over it is ridiculous. But, maybe the outcome of this would be a start to cleaning up the pd in Porterdale. One could dream, right?
As an officer he should be held to higher standards. As a role model to the scouts this does make me cringe.
(The quote from the business owner made me feel she has "beef" with this officer and that is what I was responding to for the most part.)
Just change the password and move on. If the officer was never given the password, he got it somewhere. This is just silly.
I don't know if she is making it up. I'm just pointing out that something is fishy. Why is she the only one allegedly being threatened? Mr. Meadors is also a known defendant, is he receiving these threats? Who is dumb enough to leave a handwritten note on a car in the middle of the night when patrols were already being beefed up around Shannon's house from the other alleged threats? Who is dumb enough to carry a threatening note to the Sheriff's office without first trying to preserve evidence? This whole thing has become rather comical or crazy.
