School Breakfast has been around as long as I can remember. This is nothing new. I support it and it has nothing to do with my far from liberal agenda. We have a lot of hungry children in our county and there are a myriad of reasons for this and I would venture to guess that a very small percentage is due to neglectful parents. I see kids at the bus stop at 6:15 every morning, that should cause more outrage than a school breakfast. In my opinion.
I don't have a problem if those smokers smoke in the parking lot or go over the fence away from the playgrounds (at Denny Dobb's park). But I do have a problem with the folks I see sitting on the wall at the pavilion blowing smoke at the walkers. Not to mention, that same cloud floats over the playground. Pollute your own air, not mine. It's my choice that I don't want to breathe secondhand smoke nor do I want my child to breathe it. I'm a former smoker and even when I smoked I respected others breathing space. There are plenty of smoking areas, parks and recreation areas should not be one, in my opinion.
The littering is out of hand. Smith Store Road coming from Salem Road nearly all the way to the 4 way stop on Oak Hill looks like a dump truck took a dump!
People are now hiring security guards for house parties? Wow. I will gladly pay a tax or contribute to the fund for that Sheriff's Office that is set to open. I won't go anywhere near that area or Salem Road/Kirkland Rd. Area ever since I got cased by two thugs inside Kroger. I grabbed my child and left a full cart in the aisle, I was so afraid. It really is a shame what this county has become.

EVERY DAY in the morning and in the evening, vehicles leaving that school, including buses, run those stop signs. There needs to be police presence during these times.

This is horribly tragic. My heart goes out to this girl and her parents and family.
Browneyed-for all we know she was sleepwalking. Of course there are questions, no doubt.
