i'm going to step out on a limb here and say there should, maybe, 30 or so, but that will not be a true figure as some of them will be walking by and stop to see the poor ole washed up politician on the steps speak
What a complete Joke........He reminds me of the Carpenters..He is far from a Republican and Conservative is not in his vocabulary.....If he plans on running for congress, he needs to resign from his post as County Commissioner.......It will be a spectacle though seeing him get his fanny handed to him running for Congress...........Whatever!!!!
So let me make sure I understand this........Mr. Carpenter is leaving and taking his bride with him. They are both under contract however the NCBOE is going to PAY them to abandon the contract!!! What's wrong with this picture? AMAZING
I would hope since the Carpenters BROKE their contracts, THEY would pay the county for the DEVASTATION they have strewn upon our county.....While we know that is not the case, I sure would hate to see the county presented them with a severance package, would only mean time for more heads to roll. Now, If Eddie Johnson can be a silent participant at the meetings, things may actually start to improve
I remember when "The Silos" was a nice little farm on Brown Bridge Road.....Then a certain County Commissioner (insider) bought it up and developed it in to what it is today....A War Zone.....Then the Congress (Barney Frank and Chris Dodd) said everyone should be able to buy a house, The Hood is Born......The ex county commissioner got filthy rich and the county suffered and continues to suffer......A nice sprawling lot with the same house would have been nice but, no, Pile those houses on each other....more houses more money.....
