NO NO NO. EHS is a good school. Don't let it fall into ruin from the actions of an inept administrator!
Actually, this happens at other schools as well. I know of a middle school where one girl, in multiple fights, was allowed to continue on the cheer squad. Interestingly enough, her aunt was also a teacher at that school. Another girl, on that same squad, mouthed off at her bus driver, and was immediately dismissed from the squad. Interestingly enough, she had no BOE relatives. Incidents of violence are routinely shoved under the rug, all in the name of getting that precious passing AYP status.
I would think in this case, the teacher should sue for wrongful termination. This is very clearly a case of retaliation. Sue for her job, or sue for someone to be out of theirs. Very simple.
How many kids of the essentially fired teachers are borderline on passing the EOCTs? Seems like pretty poor timing on someone's part to let these kids down. Not naming any names on who "someone" is. I'll let you guess.
Stay classy, NHS.
1) How can it be defamation, when it's true?
2) Stephanie Lindsay, you are showing poor judgment. Your sign in my yard is coming down, and I will actively encourage others to do the same.
