I like the way the mayor thinks . It's really a shame that the downtown area is being wasted . We go to Madison and to Monroe for once a month concerts downtown and wonder why we can't have that on the square in Covington . Both cities have superb concerts that draw a very large crowd on Friday Evenings . Try having Mac take over the job and watch what a difference it makes when someone who cares takes commits . Mr Mayor I like your ideas please keep up the good work.
If you truly cared for your children ypu would send them to private schools .Just ask Neal Boortz .Just look at the quality of the teachers that teach our children . A teaching degree is almost as impressive as having a degree in under water basket weaving . Beg, borrow or steal but get your chilren out of public schools and give them a chance . Demand that our government give us a choice for our children .
It is very interesting that the one school (Eastside) had the district lines laid out just for it .I don't think it was a coincidence that when NCSS board members had kids in school they were all sent to Eastside .When it comes to Eastside racism still exsists . When it comes to test scores they are easily influenced by who is and is not persauded to take SAT .If teachers were paid on a level with how well their students did then I think you would see a change.What other business awards pay and merit monies when they are not producing..

I guess it's easier to have a hate vendetta against two people than to try to fix the whole system.The parents and teacher's have to take a part of the blame . It's easier to ignore the problems than to try to fix them.Don't really understand how the Hall versus Meadors saga ended up in this article but it just proves my point ! Stop the hate campaign and start trying to fix the problem . Southside was correct in his above statement he said Meadows DOES NOT WORK FOR NCSS .I think he works for himself .
