Berry College men’s swim team finished second out of seven teams at the Viking classic in a recent meet.
Rockdale’s swim team had one of their best finishes coming in fourth overall with 401 points at the 20-team, Big Splash Invitational at Whitewater High School on Saturday.

YACS Boys Cross Country team finished second overall in their recent Cross Country Meet at the Dominion Dash. They also had two Varsity boys finish with their personal best times with Seth Nicol placing 1st at 18 minutes flat in the Dominion Dash 5K. Also, Paul Turner finished 4th overall with a 19 minute flat finish.
The Post 32 Athletics finished their regular season American Legion schedule this week with victories over Peachtree City Post 50 and Douglasville Post 145 to improve their record to 15-2 on the year.

Rockdale County dentists, from left, Dr. Wayne Kerr, Dr. Doug Torbush and Dr. Ron Cavola volunteered their services for the Georgia Mission of Mercy, a two-day, free dental clinic hosted by the Georgia Dental Association and its Foundation for Oral Health. The GMOM provided free dental services to more than 1,600 patients during the event at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross. The dentists were among the approximately 900 dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and dental laboratory technicians who donated more than $1.5 million in dental care to patients who would normally not receive this treatment due to Georgia lacking a dental safety net for dental services. To maximize the number of patients served each day, the clinic opened at 5 a.m. both days and completed patient treatment at 6:30 p.m.
