With the advent of the 183rd annual Salem Camp Meeting beginning today, families were turning up Thursday to air out and clean up their cabins, or "tents" as they're known among the faithful, at the Salem Road campgrounds.

Wall of learning
Cathy Smallwood, the art teacher at Fairview Theme School, has spent the last two years painting an ABC mural on the hallways at the school. This week, she is finally finishing the mural. She also has painted murals in the library and other parts of the school.
