2011 Covington Christmas Parade
The city of Covington held their annual Christmas parade Saturday to usher in the holiday season. Wonderful, late fall weather that gave everyone a chance to get out and enjoy the hundreds of floats, marching bands, vintage cars and other sights and sounds of Christmas.

Many thanks to the Covington Lions Club for once again hosting such a well-organized & fun event - It's weekends like this one that make me so proud of Covington!
Our Southern traditions float titled "Sharing the Message of Christmas since 1824" was put on by members of Covington First United Methodist Church, and won 1st Place for the church category - we're so proud of our awesome Youth who did such a great job representing our church on Saturday!
