Renate Cowden, front, keeps the ingredients moving as church friend Lyn Gossage pours in organic light corn syrup, one of the key ingredients in making caramel corn. Gossage and Cowden help teach the Bread of Life cooking classes at Allen UMC that are being held now through October. This is the first year the church has offered cooking classes and Gossage sees offering these classes as helping to give back to the community.
