Glen Johnson of Snapping Shoals EMC and Leadership Newton County and volunteer Jeff Roudebush were two of the locals whose efforts got the playground 80 to 90 percent completed, said Miracle League consultant Tamara Richardson. Professional installers will complete the project and then surfacing will be added. The playground can be used by special needs and able-bodied children. Construction on the Miracle League complex is expected to be complete by spring.
