These two guys, dubbed Johnny and Ringo, are obviously brothers and have been well-cared for. They were found as strays and are approximately a year old. Border Collie mixes, they weigh about 60 pounds each and have beautiful, lustrous coats. They're up-to-date on shots and worming and need a home if the original owner does not come forward. They can be adopted together or separately. They can be rescued and adopted at Rockdale County Animal Care and Control Shelter at 1506 Rockbridge Road in Conyers. At the Rockdale shelter adoption fees for dogs are $30 and $20 for cats. Spaying or neutering is required for adoption. The shelter is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
