Photo detail

Two-year-old Anslea Hall of Conyers knew exactly what to do TO spruce up this stocking, especially with a candy cane in the one hand and sequins in the other. Anslea and her mom, Kori, (not pictured) were among several other families to attend the fifth annual Holiday “Drop-In” crafts that was held at Nancy Guinn Memorial Library on Monday afternoon. The Youth Service Department, where the event took place, is located on the first floor of the library, and had a room full of eager children ready to make Christmas wreaths, handprint angels, snowmen, holiday mice made out of candy canes and more. Visit the library’s website to see other events planned for kids of all ages, including a Wii and Board Game night, that will be held at 5 p.m. today.
