Photo detail

Staff from the Covington Service Center for the Salvation Army recently pitched in to help with the Project Homeless event held in Atlanta. The event was designed for homeless individuals and families to have free access to a variety of services including medical, dental and veteran services, distribution of food and clothing and even haircuts. Director Jody Carver said the group from Covington worked with the homeless by setting up the clothing station in which they were able to go through and "shop" for clothing items, blankets and shoes and helped with food service. Attendees shown here are (l-r) Alisha Hawkins, intern; Maj. N.J. Pope, Salvation Army officer; Chrissy Busbee, assistant director; and Carver. - Special photo
