The Covington Family YMCA's annual Cheerios Challenge, held April 21, drew 1,115 participants this year. In addition 112 volunteers, like Crystal Diby, Brandy Snellgrove, Bailey and Cindi Malcom, above, helped make the event a success. "The Y is thankful for a wonderful community that supports events like the Covington Cheerios Challenge through volunteering and participating," said Membership Director Kacie Brown. "We thank all the volunteers who showed their support by participating. It's always a community effort. We look forward to next year!" The YMCA gives a special thanks to volunteers who return each year, including: Capt. Ken Malcom; Mark McGiboney and his family; Arnold and Leta Sills; Jeff Dollar; Barbara and Al Rivers; Doug Bolton; Cindi Malcom; Kelly Thompkins; David Cleveland; Linda Brown; the Beta Club from Young Americans Christian School; Lt.
