Photo detail

For "Li'l Rascal" fans this gal looks vaguely familiar. Maybe the famous Pete who hung with Spanky and the gang is a distant relative. Named Skittles for the time being, she's only 4 months old and is believed to be a bull dog/Lab-mix. She is expected to weigh about 60 pounds as an adult. Skittles was found as a stray and her time at the shelter is getting short. She needs a home in the worst kind of way. She's up-to-date on shots and may not make a movie star, but she's sure to win the hearts of any family who will accept her. She can be rescued and adopted at Rockdale County Animal Care and Control Shelter at 1506 Rockbridge Road in Conyers. At the Rockdale shelter adoption fees for dogs are $30 and $20 for cats. Spaying or neutering is required for adoption. The shelter is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is 770-278-8403.
