Covington firefighters battle Monticello St. fire for 3 hours
A Monticello Street home was engulfed in flames when a passerby notified the fire department. The first floor of the two-story home and many possessions were saved by the Covington Fire Department.
Covington firefighters battle Monticello Street house fire
Firefighters with the Covington Fire Department are battling a house fire on Monticello Street, between Ivy and Conyers streets, which began just after noon today. The frame, two-story house is engulfed in flames which appear to be widespread throughout the house. Check www.newtoncitizen.com for updates
