Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith Wendy Rodriguez, an 11th-grader at Eastside High School, admires some of the jewelry offered at the Newton Medical Center Auxiliary's Huge $6 Sale. The Auxiliary sale continues through today, offering hundreds of name brand products for men, women, boys and girls, including fashion jewelry, watches, rings, reading and sunglasses, totes and more. The event, which takes place in the main lobby from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a fundraising effort for the Auxiliary. Rodriguez, who serves as a teen volunteer in the Birth Care Center as part of a youth apprenticeship program at EHS, had some time after volunteering Monday for a little shopping.
