Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith Even this horse is in the holiday spirit at Saturday's Christmas parade in Newton County. Community members lined the streets, in the warm and sunny weather, to watch the over 125 floats, trucks, golf carts and marching bands representing businesses, schools, churches, non-profits, civic groups and Scout troops. The Newton Christmas parade is organized by the Covington Lions Club.
