Cancer relay set for Friday
COVINGTON -- Because cancer doesn't take a break, neither do the many volunteers in Newton County who are spending their time and energy raising money to help find a cure.
5K event to raise funds for cancer
Relay for Life is just more than a month away but it's never too early to start raising money. The Palmer Stone/Oxford Cares Relay for Life Team is hosting Hit, Run and Ride for a Cure! Saturday on the Quad at Oxford College, an event featuring tennis, a walk/run, motorcycle ride and more. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
Registration under way for run
COVINGTON -- Though Relay for Life isn't until April, the Newton County committee is already busy raising funds.
