DeKalb Technical College's paralegal department has received a new status that will aid students after they graduate.
CONYERS -- DeKalb Technical College signed more agreements with Rockdale and Newton County public school systems this week that will help high school students get a head start on college courses before they graduate.
Organizers of a recent job fair hosted by DeKalb Technical College were expecting a turnout of about 200. Those expectations were well exceeded when 750 people showed, with some lining up at 6 a.m., two hours before the fair began.
A longstanding state institution soon will be known by a different name.
Two local post-secondary institutions will team up this month up to present a special event for students.
After 50 years, DeKalb Technical College is looking to make some big changes.
