Chuck Russell, left, and Joel Yoder work on the chandelier in the entrance way of the Parish House in Conyers in preparation for the Designer Showcase to be held at the house from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9. Russell said they are the original light fixtures of the 1884 house located at 927 North Main St. The showcase will include four rooms in the house decorated for the holidays by local designers and businesses. Proceeds will go toward commissioning an architectural study to begin restoring the historic house.
Judy Mauran stands by the only set of pocket doors in the Parish House. Mauran is a member of the church committee working to restore the house and a live-long Conyers resident.
A stained glass window brings unique lighting to the Parish House dining room. All of the windows are original to the house.
