Musician brings New Orleans flare to Covington Square
Bobby Swain became a musician a little late in the game, some might say. But he's making up for it by having a ball, and making sure his audience does too, every time he plays.
Coming in East Metro Sunday
Covington resident Bobby Swain and his Blues Generation band will play at the Center Street Arts black box theater on April 30 at 8 p.m.Retired from the Army Corps of Engineers, Swain didn't pick up a guitar until age 47. He carved out a career playing in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina hit, forcing him to relocate.
