County could lose road money
The county is in jeopardy of losing state funding for resurfacing of 14 roads, Chairman Kathy Morgan told commissioners Tuesday night.
DOT delays traffic shift
A planned traffic shift at Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, also known as Covington Bypass, south of U.S. Highway 278 to just south of the Lochridge Boulevard/Wheat Street intersection on Ga. Highway 142, has been delayed due to weather, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
