Remembering the fallen heroes
Porterdale Volunteer firefighters pay tribute to the heroes of 9/11 as well as every day heroes who continue to save lives as they work as firemen, police officers, EMTs and other service work. Capt. Ron Savage and his men put the final touches on the memorial Friday afternoon as their way of honoring today's ninth anniversary of the New York City and Washington, D.C., attacks. Covington's First Methodist Church is also hosting an informal 9/11 Service of Remembrance for the public immediately following the Fuzz Run today.
