Helping support adoption
Service Guild of Covington members Tina Daniel Reasey, left, and Peggy Hawley, right, pose with Jan Ballard of Region 5 Department of Family and Children's Services during the Community Foster and Adoption Recruitment Effort Seminar recently held in Athens. More than 30 members of the Covington Service Guild attended the event which focused on promoting the "C-FARE Bear" program. Individuals are asked to pledge to provide the mini-program to groups in their communities in order to promote adoption of foster children.
