Prep teams back on the prowl
Sophomore Alcovy High School cheerleader Gabby Evans welcomes Prowler, the AHS tiger mascot, at Friday night's inaugural game for the 2010 football season at the newly refurbished Sharp Stadium. The tiger mascot had gone four seasons without a name, but on Friday it was announced to the AHS student body that he had been dubbed Prowler. The AHS Tigers faced guest Eastside Eagles, whose fans had filled the guest section by 7:30 p.m. At halftime when this photo was snapped, AHS was behind 14 points, but it didn't dampen fans' spirits.
