Girl Scout troop makes donation to Rockdale Animal Control
Girl Scout Troop Number 11593, a combination of Brownies and Juniors, who meet at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, have been collecting dog food, cat food, dog toys and cat toys for the past three months. Recently the girl scouts delivered their collection of items to Rockdale County Animal Control.

AT&T at 2315 Salem Road recently capped off its annual United Way campaign with an employee sponsored hot dog lunch to benefit the Rockdale Houses for Men and Women.
YACS supports local breast cancer awareness and prevention
The Booster Club at Young Americans Christian School recently presented a donation of $5,304 to the Kimberley Chance Atkins Foundation that was a result of the club's "Get Your Pink On" fundraiser in October as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Money was raised through concession sales at YACS
