YACS graduates 11th senior class

Young Americans Christian School’s class of 2014 graduated on May 16 at Glen Haven Baptist Church, located in McDonough. With 45 seniors graduating, this was YACS’s 11th graduating class, and seniors will be attending a wide variety of colleges such as Coastal Carolina University, Georgia Southern University, University of West Georgia and Kennesaw State University, as well as enlisting in the U.S. Navy. More than $600,000 worth of scholarships have been awarded to the class, and 67 percent of seniors qualified as Honor Graduates. (Special photo)
