The General Federation of Woman’s Club — Service Guild of Covington held its 2014 Awards Luncheon recently at The Oaks in Covington. The annual event recognizes outstanding members selected by peer members of the organization. Those noted for their outstanding works in 2013 were, standing from left, Debbie Dial — Club Woman of the Year; Lee Aldridge — Community Service Award; Wilma Carey — Club Officer of the Year; sitting from left, Diane Loeble — Outstanding Department (Education); and Nonie Needham — Spirit Award. The awards luncheon committee included Helen Jo Schneider, Janet Burtts, Wilma Carey, and Diane Loeble and was chaired by Joyce Lancaster.
