The Conyers Garden Club Yard of the Month for March is at the home of Jonathan and Amy Dement of 1615 Flat Rock Drive. At the driveway entrance is a large island covered with jonquils of several types, lily of the valley, spreading juniper, gardenia and gladiolus. The island includes oaks, pink and white dogwood, crepe myrtle and a cherry tree from the Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival. The house foundation planting included mock orange that has been cut back, juniper, nandina and box holly. Other areas in the landscape include lenten rose, spider lilies and native azalea.
