“(Winder) never really threatened,” said Heritage coach Chad Suddeth.
Winder-Barrow (2-7, 1-3) has given up 14 goals during its current four-game losing streak.

Allen Bowen and Daniel Croom had two hits and two RBIs and Shawn Guckenberger (two singles) and Auliver Astin (triple, single) helped Newton (7-6, 3-1) go up 6-0 and cruise to its fourth consecutive game. The Rams have scored 42 runs during the streak.

Tyler Page struck out five in five shutout innings as the Bulldogs romped in Clayton County.
Malachi Eskin reached base three times and drove in a pair of runs and Jordan Davis (double) and Willie Hardeman (triple) drove in a run each for Rockdale (8-5, 2-1 Region 2-AAAAAA).
