It takes two to tango and this guy is ready to be someone’s partner. Tango is an adult Maine Coon who is extremely friendly. The Maine Coon is one fo the oldest natural breeds in Noth America and is known for its hunting skills. Tango can be adopted at the Newton County Animal Shelter, located at 210 Lower River Road in Covington. The shelter usually has between 20 to 30 dogs and an equal number of cats eligible for adoption. The adoption fee for a dog or puppy is $25 and $10 for a cat or kitten. Spaying/neutering is mandatory for all animals. The shelter is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is 770-786-9514.
