Newton Medical to host jewelry sale

COVINGTON — Accessories, necklaces, bracelets and more will be available during a special sale at Newton Medical Center.

The center’s Auxiliary is hosting a Masquerade $5 jewelry sale on Tuesday, July 8 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The sale will take place in the hospital’s main lobby and will include jewelry, accessories and gifts. Proceeds will benefit the Newton Medical Center Auxiliary.

Masquerade Fundraising is the nation’s largest jewelry company dedicated to hospital fundraising. All jewelry pieces at DHR’s Masquerade jewelry sale will cost $5.

According to Andrea Lane, director of Volunteer Services, the Auxiliary has held a variety of fundraising events.

“Proceeds from the vendor sales, including the Masquerade $5 Jewelry, Uniforms & Scrubs, Books Are Fun and the newest addition, JK Linens, are applied to the Hospital Projects and Services Fund, which helps provide quality health care throughout Newton Medical Center,” Lane said.
