Stuffed bell peppers. Who knew there were so many options when it came to stuffing bell peppers and baking them to deliciousness?
I’ve seen recipes for stuffed peppers before, but none like a Philly cheesesteak-style pepper recipe.
Neither my husband nor I really liked bell peppers enough to make a whole dish out of them, but we decided to give it a whirl anyway.
The recipe says you can use provolone or mozzarella cheese. We went with mozzarella cheese and were pleased with the choice. Also, you could use ground beef instead of the sliced roast beef, but using the roast beef was a nice change.
Because the bell peppers are large enough for one person, you can also adjust the ingredients to each individual person’s taste. For example, there were no mushrooms in my stuffed bell pepper.
